Daniel and the Revelation - 1897

Category Religion Author Campbell M Gold Date 19 Jul 2025
The books of Daniel and Revelation are counterparts of each other. They naturally stand side by side and should be studied together. By the literal method, everything is subject to well-established and clearly-defined law; and, viewed from this standpoint, the reader will be surprised to see how simple, easy, and clear many portions of the Scriptures at once become, which, according to any other system, are dark and unsolvable.
The Bible provides substantial evidence that God promised the land of Canaan, including modern-day Palestine, to the Jews, with promises made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants. These promises were fulfilled through conquest under Joshua, accompanied by conditions for obedience and promises of return after exile.
The Books of Daniel and Revelation in the Bible have long been sources of fascination and study for theologians, scholars, and believers alike. These texts are rich with symbolism, visions, and prophecies that many interpret as signs of the times leading up to the end of the age. Here, we explore some of the modern interpretations of these ancient prophecies.
Biblical End of the World
The Bible outlines a sequence of events for the end times, but interpretations vary, particularly regarding the timing of the Rapture and the Tribulation. It seems likely that the timeline begins with signs such as wars and famines, followed by the Rapture, where believers are taken to heaven...
As some of my articles contain references to the Holy Bible I thought having a searchable, copy, paste, and printable text version would be helpful for further analysis and study. Here is an unrestricted PDF version of the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible with Apocrypha.

"Slavery was established by decree of Almighty God... it is sanctioned in the Bible, in both Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation... it has existed in all ages, has been found among the people of the highest civilization, and in nations of the highest proficiency in the arts." Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States of America.
